
We’re all aware that agriculture is exceeding planetary boundaries and is a significant producer of greenhouse gases. But scientists, policymakers, journalists and activists want to see the hard data and learn how it can be used to address climate change.
On 17th December 2025, Alexander Wezel and Cian Blaix, the co-authors of two recent scientific reports provided in a webinar the facts on how agroecological farming practices contribute to climate change mitigation. They also explored with Carlo Rega how their findings can be used to move debates on climate, biodiversity restauration and agriculture policy forward.
